GENERAL DESCRIPTION:The Church Bookkeeper reports to the Senior Pastor and is responsible for administering all aspects of the church finances and works in partnership with the Trustees. This includes processing all income, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, month end financial reports, annual budget development, and other statistical tracking.
The successful candidate will handle sensitive information with strict discretion and will be a team player who can collaborate effectively with staff and volunteers to support the First Baptist Church Values and Vision.
